Data handling

Cardboard sees the tool calls the assistant makes, not your conversation with it.

  • Your files and projects: the files you upload or bring in from links, your projects and their edits, preview renders, and your exports. They’re stored in Google Cloud Storage under your Cardboard account.
  • Where edits run: in a cloud workspace for your account alone. It pauses after a few minutes without use.
  • Uploads, projects and exports are kept while your Cardboard account is open. To have them deleted, email founders@cardboard.ai.
  • Previews: Cardboard keeps the 20 most recent preview renders of each project and deletes older ones.
  • Download links: a link to an export works for 6 hours; ask the assistant for a new one after that.
  • Analytics record what happened (which tool ran, how long it took, whether it worked) under your account’s id. They never include your email, your name, file names, project names, what you asked the assistant, or what a tool was given or returned.
  • Errors: when something fails on our side, the error is reported with your account’s id so we can fix it.

The Privacy Policy and Terms of Service cover all of Cardboard, including this connector.
